Schools
Working with and in schools is a significant part of our work. Over our lengthy existence the support for schools has changed to match changing times and circumstances. The needs of schools, especially small schools have changed. We provide a service, especially during term one and two, where we bring children from schools together to do interesting and challenging things.
The work Wairarapa REAP does in schools includes...
- Providing support to all schools.
- Supporting individual school programmes (yearly applications).
- Work to increase the diversity of opportunity for students especially in small schools.
- Supporting extension programmes
- Providing quality professional development programmes as appropriate
Schools can apply for support from time to time (Usually at the end if the year for Terms 1 and 2; and in May for Term 3 and 4).
