Wairarapa REAP Early Childhood
We offer a range of support to local early childhood organisations.
Our staff Jude Mitchell and Shirley Jones support rural playgroups with help and advice on activities, curriculum and management – we are currently helping playgroups achieve certification with the Ministry of Education.
We support all other early childhood education centres, including kindergartens, playcentres, kohanga reo and childcare centres.
We run and support parent education and work closely with SKIP and… – fill in a course request to get a parenting programme running in your area.
We run the Early Childhood Network, bringing together professionals from early childhood education groups in the Wairarapa to share expertise and best practice.
We link groups to MoE staff so the can access appropriate support.
Families with young children can also contact us for information on preschool services in their area.
